Location Description

This position is being offered in a beautiful town located on scenic bay in Massachusetts about 30 minutes south of Boston and 20 minutes away from Providence and Newport, Rhode Island! This old mill town was once known as the largest maker of sweaters in the United States! Today, the old mills are being converted to new malls, offices, and loft apartments! Also, this town is home to the world's largest collection of World War II naval vessels! It is also the only city in the United States to have its city hall located over an interstate highway. This city is located on the water and its residential areas extend across beautiful hillsides overlooking the bay. In addition to the bay and the river running through this town, there are also many ponds and much forestry due to the fact that part of the area is a State Forest. This largely populated area has a lot of entertainment, restaurants, shopping, and recreational activities for its residents! Another interesting fact is that about 47% of the residents claim to be of Portuguese heritage, making this the largest population of Portuguese Americans in the United States! This town is home to families with children of all ages, and it is full of culture with many diverse cultures from around the globe being represented. The town also has a wonderful school district with great public schools and many private schools to choose from, and it is close to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth! Another fun fact is that the town has a rich soccer history! This town is an amazing place to live with its beautiful location, great transportation, recent renovations, wonderful schools, and its countless opportunities to explore!
