Job Description
|
Outpatient only Family Practice position in the San Francisco Bay Area of California
THE POSITION: Under general direction the individual in this position is responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient medical services, including family planning, prenatal, and gynecological services, to a culturally diverse population of all ages. This individual must have a willingness to participate in Saturday clinics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
M.D. /D.O. degree from a recognized University.
Valid license to practice Medicine in the State of California. Board Eligible/Certified in Family Practice.
One to two years experience working in primary care clinic setting preferred.
Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods and objectives of modern medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics
‐gynecology. Excellent clinical and physical assessment skills essential.
Ability and willingness to work under pressure and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both professional staff and clients essential.
Ability to keep accurate, clear and legible records.
Ability to deal courteously and effectively with complex patient profiles, and maintain good working relationships with other staff.
