General dentist needed in a federally funded children's dental clinic. Dental services will target children in the surrounding communities.  Many of these children currently use this clinic as their medical home.


There will be 4 dental chairs.  Dental services include:

Composites                 Sealants

Prophy                         Pulpotomy

Amalgams                   Stainless steel crowns

X-ray                            Space maintainers

Extractions

 

Current Providers:  

2 Pediatricians, 1 Internal Medicine physician, 2 Family Nurse Pract., 2 Ob/Gyn physicians and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife. Recruiting for 2 Internal Medicine physicians and 1 Pediatrician.

 

Patient Population and Volume:

Projected daily encounters:  20-25

Schedule:

Mon.-Fri. 8:30am-5:00pm

First scheduled patient appointment:  8:30am

Last scheduled patient appointment:  4:00pm

 

Clinical Support Staff:

Two dental assistants will assist the dentist in the provision of dental services allowing the dentist to operate from two chairs simultaneously.
