The community in which this job is being offered is located in a scenic region of northeastern Pennsylvania only one hour outside of Allentown, Reading, and Harrisburg! It is also only about two hours away from Philadelphia! It is a smaller town, but the facility draws patients from many surrounding areas. The cost of living and housing prices are significantly lower in this area than they are throughout most of Pennsylvania, making this town a very affordable place to live! The area has a large percentage of residents with German and Irish heritages. Also, the town is located in a former coal mining area of Pennsylvania, and, today, visitors and residents can enjoy mine tours and train tours of the mines! Furthermore, the town has great views of a beautiful nearby mountain and is surrounded by lush areas designated as State Forests!  Another benefit of this community is its low crime rate and safe environment. This town typically has fairly mild summer weather with average summer temperatures reaching only about 70 degrees!
