Job Description
|
Psychiatric NP to join a growing clinic. This site currently has several Family Practice Providers, Pediatricians, and an Internal Medicine Provider. This health center offers an excellent environment for a clinic-minded mental health specialist who wants to be part of a larger medical community, collaborate with his or her peers, and with local non-profit and government agencies. This metropolitan area offers all the conveniences of a vibrant urban center surrounded by Mountains and some of the most amazing outdoor living in the Pacific Northwest.
To provide comprehensive Mental Health care in a community health center setting. Position responsible for providing individual/group counseling, and case management to clients. Caseload will consist of adults on OHP with a variety of mental health and alcohol/drug problems. Must possess a strong understanding and application of DSM diagnoses and experience with assessments and evidenced based practices. Predominant focus is on solution-focused brief treatment, strengths based perspective, trauma therapy, group treatment, and case management responsibilities. Position will work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
